North Norfolk church goes wild
All Saints Church in Beeston Regis will be moving outside later this month to experience church in the Wild, and families and children are particularly encouraged to join in. Tony Rothe reports.
Folks will gather in the field adjoining the church at 2pm for a 2.15pm start on Sunday February 20 for an hour of fun, nature-inspired activities outdoors. Participants are advised to wrap up warm with outdoor footwear. Barista coffee and hot chocolate will be available from Blossom, a travelling caravan café.
The church is hoping that the event, part of the Diocese of Norwich’s Wild Church project, will become a regular event. All ages are welcome, and a range of activities are being organised as families and others explore the wonder of God’s creation.

The Wild Church Hub for East Anglia is in the process of collating information about where Wild Churches operate in the area to make this easier for enquirers to find. They are also in the process of creating video guides and resources to equip newcomers to set up their own.
