Music concerts return to Aylsham church
A busy programme of activities and events is planned at Aylsham Parish Church this summer, and everyone is welcome to visit this historic building to see what is on offer.
After a long two years during which many activities were necessarily restricted, the church in Aylsham is inviting the public back to varied programme of weekend concerts and a range of weekday activities and services to suit all.
The programme of concerts is as follows:

Sunday 1 May at 3.30pm Ensemble East Chamber Orchestra -
Saturday 7 May at 7.30pm Humphry Repton Memorial Lecture -
Saturday 14 May at 3.30pm Church Choir sing Evensong at Norwich Cathedral -
Saturday 21 May at 7.30pm Gresley Male Voice Choir from Derbyshire -
Saturday 4 June at 6pm Platinum Jubilee Celebration Concert -
Saturday 18 June at 7.30pm Viva Voce Singers Concert -
Saturday 16 July at 7.30pm Ladies Who Sing Summer Concert -
Saturday 30 July at 7.30pm The Mirliton Flute Choir -
Saturday 6 August at 11am Norfolk Organists’ Association Coffee Morning followed at 12.15pm by the Young Organists’ Platform Concert
Regular activities at the church include the Monday Market, North Norfolk District Foodbank, Monthly Men’s Breakfast at the Black Boys, First Saturday Charity Coffee Mornings, New Brew Café, Make and Take After School Club, First Steps Baby and Toddler Café, Mothers’ Union, Julian Group, Wednesday Group.
These are all in addition to the regular services of worship which include Weekday Early Morning Worship, Wednesday Mid-Week Holy Communion, Sunday Morning Worship, and monthly Evensong.
Clive McCombie, Music & Events Coordinator, said, “After a long layoff, we’re up and running again. We would love to see as many people as possible at any of our concerts and regular activities. People can follow updated progress on the website or get information from the church desk.”
