Norwich church welcomes new pastors

Bridge Fellowship in Norwich recently introduced Doug and Lindy Laet as their new pastors, taking over from the previous leaders. The couple, who have been married for 25 years and have two sons, bring with them over 30 years of ministry experience from working in Zimbabwe and South Africa. They have a passion for teaching and have been involved in preaching and teaching in various church and Bible School settings across different countries. Prior to their move to Norwich, they pastored at the Faith in God church in South Africa for 15 years, and are excited to bring their vision of creating a multi-cultural and multi-racial worship center to the Norwich community.

Doug and Lindy Laet express their desire for Bridge Fellowship to be a place where individuals and families can experience the love of God through fellowship, with the goal of knowing God and making Him known. They invite the Norwich community to join them at the church on Sundays at 10 am at the Jubilee Community Centre. The couple is committed to serving the community and can be contacted for any pastoral support. Their vision for the church is to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone can come together to worship and grow spiritually, regardless of their background or ethnicity. They are enthusiastic about their new role and have already settled in well in Norwich.

The Laets have a strong track record of working with youths and pastoring churches in various nations, which has equipped them with the experience and skills needed to lead Bridge Fellowship effectively. Their focus on teaching and preaching has been a cornerstone of their ministry, and they hope to continue sharing the message of God’s love and grace with the Norwich community. With their background in multicultural settings, Doug and Lindy bring a unique perspective to the church, aiming to create a diverse and inclusive congregation that reflects the community they serve. Their dedication to building relationships and fostering a sense of belonging within the church exemplifies their commitment to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all members.

As new pastors of Bridge Fellowship, Doug and Lindy Laet are eager to connect with the Norwich community and encourage individuals to join them in their journey of faith and worship. Their vision for the church aligns with creating a space where God’s love is felt and shared among all members, with a focus on unity and spiritual growth. They bring a wealth of experience and passion for ministry to their new role, and their commitment to serving the diverse population of Norwich reflects their dedication to spreading the message of love and acceptance to all who enter the doors of Bridge Fellowship.
