Norwich church remembrance garden accessible

Visitors to Christ Church, Eaton, can now enjoy a smooth and safe path by the Garden of Remembrance, thanks to a new permeable, hard-standing, surface replacing the old, gravel one.

 

The garden is a peaceful and serene place to sit, reflect and admire this historic Victorian church. Problems with water pipes delayed the project, but they have been solved. The church welcomes everyone, especially those with limited mobility, to experience the new path and the garden.

Patrick Richmond, Vicar of Christ Church said, “We’re delighted to have a new path for our Garden of Remembrance, making it more accessible for everyone, especially those with limited mobility. We want the Church and its grounds to be welcoming to everyone.”
