Inspirational speakers at W Norfolk roadshow

A West Norfolk-based businessman is behind a major new project aimed at offering help and support to people who find themselves struggling with inner turmoil which adversely impacts on their daily lives.

Richard Crisp, a business consultant in the construction industry, who lives in Watlington, near King’s Lynn, has lined-up a number of specialised “inspirational” speakers for what he says, for some people attending, could prove to be a “life-changing” experience.

The Script-Busters Roadshow is being staged at Watlington village hall on Saturday October 10 and the event will also support the village Pre-School Roof appeal.

A limited number of tickets, at £5 each, are now available and part of the proceeds will go towards the roof appeal fund.

Richard, who has lived in the village  for more than 25 years, puts the philosophy behind his initiative simply….”a bad day is normal..a bad life isn’t!!”.

He says the evening is for anyone continually struggling with their own “internal demons”.

“These may include a parent struggling with a child, teenagers struggling with parents, partners struggling with relationship problems and staff members struggling with their boss.”

“Jesus was always trying to help and heal people and be there for them in their times of trial. If my  road show can offer a more positive way and help one person attending to feel better about themselves then it will have been very worthwhile,” said Richard.

Richard says he has spent countless hours researching his subject and uncovered, for him personally, a wealth of previously-unknown information about what he describes as “the mechanics of the human mind”.

His passion for his subject is such that he has self-published a book on the subject. He describes the contents of the book as a “simple man’s journey to find simple answers to the complexities of the human mind.”

Richard explains that the “script-busters” in the title name of the event, refers to that part of everyone’s “genetic survival kit” which can rob some people of their ability to feel good about themselves, and promises those attending the event  that it will be an evening to remember.

“For some people attending it might just be the most worthwhile £5 they have ever invested. For some”, he says, “it could be a life-changing experience”.
