Broadland Methodists gathering ideas for revival

The Norfolk Broads Methodist Circuit is inviting people to meet together to share ideas about how to strengthen discipleship with a focus on mission and revival.

Methodist churches were born in a spirit of revival and with a focus on mission. This is still their ambition, and in response to this Methodists nationally are being encouraged to embrace a four-fold rule of life: Worship, Learning and caring, Service, and Evangelism.

Broadland Methodists will be holding four meetings in the coming weeks to explore each of these areas. The first meeting is on Worship and Prayer. It will be an opportunity for people to share the best experiences they have had and see how prayer and worship can be encouraged in our communities.

The meetings will take place on a Saturday afternoon at either Acle Methodist church, pictured above, or Magdalen Way Methodist in Gorleston. The meeting on Saturday April 23 is at Magdalen Way, and will run from 2pm to 4pm.

Anyone who attends a Methodist church or has connections with one is warmly welcome to come along. If you cannot be there, then it will be possible to join on Zoom. Please pray for these meetings.
