Bonnie, 23, said she “wasn’t ready” to lose her dad and wanted to be able to spend the remaining time with him along with her three grandchildren.
A GoFundMe was set up and within a matter of days, the family’s £500 target was smashed, with more than £900 raised.
One kind person even donated a five-night stay at a holiday park in Pakefield.
Bonnie said: “The woman booked the holiday there between October 2-6 but since then she’s bought a static caravan in Belton, so they offered us the original holiday.
“Dad’s operation is scheduled for September 21 so it will depend how that goes but the woman has said we’re more than welcome to take the kids, which dad was also happy with.”
The family says it’s “overwhelmed” by the support and is already making memories together.

Bonnie added: “Dad is really overwhelmed by the support he’s received from everyone since getting the word out.
“We went for a little trip to Funkys on Sunday (August 20) where he got to see the kids playing which he enjoyed and that’s what the fundraiser is all about really.
“On behalf of everyone in our family, we’re so grateful for the continued support.”
